Sonic Proof

The people and information behind a recording.

Sonic Proof is AQUEO’s recording-information demonstration. It connects a recording with its contributors, their roles and supporting metadata, so the record behind the music can be explored alongside the audio example.

What information does the demo show?

The fictional Glass House recording includes contributor names, SAC examples and roles. The record separates information about the sound recording from information about the musical work. For example, a performance or engineering role belongs in the recording context, while songwriting relates to the song. The website also displays example recording and work identifiers.

Why are there JSON, CSV and XML views?

Different readers need different views of the same information. JSON presents a structured example record. CSV makes the contributor list easier to scan. XML illustrates a recording-information message following DDEX RIN conventions. These are demonstrations, not a claim that the website delivers certified messages to industry recipients.

What do the hashes, signatures and provenance fields mean here?

The demo includes sample file-hash, signature and provenance values to illustrate how supporting information might be organised. They are not independently verified evidence for a real recording. A displayed signature is not a copyright certificate, and the example does not establish production C2PA certification or sample clearance.

How does Sonic Proof relate to SAC and Beacon?

SAC is AQUEO’s contributor-identity concept; Sonic Proof concerns information associated with a recording. Beacon concerns the people joining a session. A useful record can connect those contexts, but attendance, reviewed credits, ownership and permissions remain distinct. Metadata alone does not establish copyright ownership or guarantee royalties.
