SAC
One contributor identity across your work.
SAC stands for Sonic Authorship Code. It is AQUEO’s contributor-identity concept, intended to connect a person with their different roles, sessions and credits as their music-making work develops.

Music makers can share a name, use several professional names or take different roles from one session to the next. A contributor identity is intended to connect those records without treating a name alone as a unique identifier. AQUEO’s public demo illustrates this through fictional people and project connections.
What does the website’s SAC preview mean?
When you personalise a profile in the demo, the website can show an illustrative SAC preview. That preview is not a reserved or issued identifier and does not create an app account. Requesting early access saves your interest in the private beta; it does not complete an identity-verification process or guarantee an invitation.
Is SAC the same as ISRC, ISWC, ISNI or IPI?
No. Those identifiers appear in different recording, musical-work or party contexts. AQUEO’s SAC concept concerns contributor identity within AQUEO. The website shows sample references and intended connections; it does not issue official industry identifiers or demonstrate universal industry recognition for SAC.
Does a SAC prove ownership or approve credits?
A contributor identifier is not a copyright registration, ownership decision or royalty entitlement. Being present in a session does not automatically approve a release credit. SAC, profiles and Sonic Proof illustrate related information, while credit review and rights decisions remain separate.
