Music came first.

I’m Carlos Picardo, the founder of AQUEO. I’ve been an artist, producer and engineer. I’m building this from that perspective: the person making the music, and the people making it with them.

A song asks for your attention. The performance, the arrangement, the texture, the moment something finally feels right. That’s where I want to spend mine.

My why

The support should be within reach.

The work around a recording matters too—organising sessions, keeping files and versions connected, remembering who contributed, preparing credits and the details a release needs.

My intention with AQUEO is to make that support more accessible. I want music makers to have more room for creative decisions, with the people and story behind the work kept together.

That support should feel like a necessity people can reach, rather than a luxury reserved for those who already have a team.

What I’m building toward

A beginning we can shape together.

I’m developing AQUEO in the United Kingdom. My intention is to keep it free without a subscription model, and to build it with people who understand the everyday work of making music.

For now, the website is an interactive demo and the private beta is invitation-only. I’d rather learn with a small, supported group and let that experience shape what comes next.
