What travels with the recording?
Contributor identities and reviewed roles, with their source and status kept visible. Sonic Proof connects audio, readable metadata and the project record. BWF, iXML, RIN 2.1 and DDEX-ready.
What still needs a human decision?
Credit approval, agreements and final usage stay separate. Missing identifiers or disputed contributions stay visible for review. Metadata doesn’t establish ownership or guarantee payment.

About Aqueo+
Aqueo brings sessions, credits, profiles and music metadata together. Explore the interactive demo and request an invitation to the free private beta. Meet Aqueo ↗
Is AQUEO really free?+
Yes. AQUEO is free. My commitment is to do everything I can to keep it free, without a subscription model. The current beta is invitation-only while we test with a small group. — Carlos, founder of AQUEO
Can I share the music I worked on?+
That is the point. Your profile brings your released work and your credited role together. Share an eligible release from your portfolio, add your own context, and give people a reason to listen. Sharing on AQUEO is not a replacement for a distributor
How do I meet people to work with?+
Post a question, share what you’re making or put out a collaboration call. Explore professional profiles, follow people whose work interests you and build mutual connections. Messaging keeps the conversation going; the room is where project participation is recorded
What happens during a session?+
Start a project, set the date in your calendar and bring people in through Beacon. Responsibilities, presence and decisions stay connected to the project. An easy join isn’t an automatic credit: release credits are reviewed separately
What makes the credits different?+
A credit is connected to a Sonic Authorship Code (SAC), not just a name typed into a field. Claims, confirmations, approved credits and final usage keep their own context. Corrections add to the record instead of silently replacing its history
What does Sonic Proof do?+
It brings audio preparation and the project record together. Review recording details, contributor credits and file checks, then carry supported metadata forward with the audio. This website illustrates the experience with sample information
What is Astro?+
Astro is the assistant inside the Studio Companion. Your projects, session context and next steps stay close by. The answers on this page are illustrative; the website doesn’t run an AI model or listen to your DAW
What are Minis?+
Characters for your profile and your Companion. Three of them, The Sage, Rodeo and Trapper, are founding Minis, only available during the first beta. A character is decoration: it never changes your identity or approves a credit
